Arizona Reclaiming is one of many communities within the broader worldwide tradition of Reclaiming witchcraft, specifically based out of the Phoenix-Mesa metro area.
Our public rituals are open to folks of all ages, all genders, all physical abilities, pagans, non-pagans, solitaries, covens, seekers, and the curious.
What is Reclaiming?
Reclaiming is a community of people working to unify spirit and politics. In Arizona and around the world, our collective vision is rooted in the religion and magic of the Goddess, the Immanent Life Force. We see our work as teaching and making magic: the art of empowering ourselves and each other.
Principles of Unity
Though we are an eclectic tradition, the Arizona Reclaiming group strives to follow the Principles of Unity. This unifying set of ideals was consensed by the Reclaiming Collective in 1997. Updated by consensus at the BIRCH Council meeting of Dandelion Gathering 5 in 2012 and at the BIRCH Council meeting in January 2021.
Who Can Join?
The Arizona Reclaiming community is open to folks of all ages, all genders, all physical abilities, pagans, non-pagans, solitaries, covens, seekers, and the curious.
Because we value freedom of thought, we accept no dogmas nor implement any required beliefs.
In other words - YOU can join if you feel so called! Contact us to come to our next public ritual.
What to Expect at Ritual
While our community is eclectic and accepting of all people, our group strives to follow the Reclaiming Witchcraft Principles of Unity. You do not need to be a Reclaiming Witch to attend! We simply ask that while you are in the ritual space, you respect these guiding principles.
Our potluck immediately follows the ritual and is open to all ritual participants! We ask that you bring a dish to share, and that you label any allergens. If your dish is vegetarian or vegan, please call that out! Please also bring your blissware (plate, silverware, bowl, and cup) so that we can keep our potlucks green!
Our rituals are participatory and ecstatic - however, you are your own spiritual authority. You can participate to your level of desire and comfort. If you need any accommodation, please just let one of the ritual muses or SteerCo members know!
Nudity is never required, but it's also a possibility that you might see some bodies (especially during the warmer months).
All Reclaiming events are dry - no alcohol or recreational drugs. No exceptions.
We take donations for both the general fund (used to get everything we need to host rituals) and for the Witchcamp scholarship fund. You can bring cash, or we have Venmo and Zelle available. Please donate what you can.
Children are welcome! Please exercise your own parental discretion.
There will be a book exchange at the ritual. Bring your pre-loved witchy books to pass on to their next reader!

The Arizona Reclaiming group LOVES witch camp! Every year, several of our members attend California Witchcamp - a week-long retreat in the California Redwoods near Mendocino where we dive deep into ourselves, participate in Earth-shaking rituals, and connect across our global community to learn, share, and grow.
We believe witch camp should be available to anyone who wants to go, regardless of financial circumstances! We have an open donation basket (as well as Venmo & Zelle) to help support witch camp scholarships. Please give as you are able.

WitchCamps are offered to people of all genders at every level of experience. Many of the camps are family-friendly, offering classes specifically for children and teenagers.
Newcomers can learn the basic skills of magic and ritual, working with the elements, movement, sound and the mythological and historical framework of the Goddess Tradition.
Advanced paths offer the chance to apply the tools of ritual to personal healing and empowerment, or a focus of taking the craft out into the world, creating public ritual, ongoing groups and healing issues surrounding leadership and power.... Read More >
